Willow Tree 06/31/04 - 11/25/04

A person very close to me once told me about willow trees. How they are planted to mourn the loss of loved ones. Tonite I plant one for someone very close to me, someone i can never thank enough for our brief time. Knowing that they have gone to a better place, one i could sadly not be in, one i hope is filled with all the happiness and joy possible. Leaving my heart here to feed and nourish it, wanting it to last, to grow, to flourish, to leave some mark that i existed. Small stone marking the dates. Turning and sadly moving on, alone, knowing everything happens for the best, or so ive been told. Maybe one day i will understand that, but right now........
