Safety First When Meeting Over The Internet
There are succes stories out there of people meeting in sex chat rooms and going on to meet up in real life, falling in love and have wonderful long term relationships. However we seem to hear more of the disasters than the success, these are not limited to the alternative sex chat rooms. They happened from just plain vanilla chat rooms also, there are some simple rules to follow to help protect your self when you meet and they are really based in common sense.
1) Always meet for the fist couple of times with a trusted friend or family member of yours with you.
2) Always make sure that these first meetings are in a public place, where there are plenty of people around you all.
3) Always make sure that other family or friends know where you are and who you are meeting with, leaving them with the details of the people you are meeting with (all there contact details, "That You Have Confirmed and Checked")
4) Always use your common sense and if you feel uncomfortable remember you are in control and don’t need to meet with some one you don’t want to.
5) Always arrange a safe call from you (or the friend or family member) to some one to make sure that you are ok, if there is no call he or she can try contact you to make sure you are ok "If they think there is a problem they can contact the authorities to help you if there is any problem".
Meeting that cyber friend can end up in a wonderful relationship, but like any relationship it happens over time and your safety comes first. Don’t rushing where angels fear to tread, you have the time and should take it…!!!
