Kittens Piercing and Body Jewelry Information

Many people consider, having themselves pierced in one form or another at some time in their lives. Whether the piercing is from your ears to a piece or part of you that is a bit more extreme. I have seen some piercing's out there in the lifestyle, that I think to myself WHY? But obviously each and every person has reasoning for getting every piercing that they have.

For me my piercing’s have not only been for enjoyment reasons, but also as a way to symbolize my submission to my Sir.

But having said that, piercing’s are a big responsibility. Here is my list of Information from a Do and Don’t standpoint. Along with a Retail aspect of questions that are asked from customers.

1. When you decide to have whatever it is pierced, DO make sure you go first off to a reputable body modification specialist.

2. DO NOT do this at home unless you have the proper sterile equipment, and the knowledge of where to and not to stick that needle. You can cause irreparable damage to a person if you Don’t know what you are doing.

3. DO have knowledge behind healing times of each piercing that you get. Different parts of the body heal differently, ex. Nipples take a full 6 Months to heal fully.

4. DO clean and treat each piercing for as long as they take to heal.

5. DO NOT change your original body jewelry till your healing is completely healed.

6. DO NOT take out your body jewelry and leave it out. It is NOT like your ears, there are other parts of your body that heal VERY quickly.

7. DO ask your body piercer, what size Gauge that they pierced you with so you know when you go to change your piercing’s or size them up. (Trust me trying to size them up too big can HURT really bad!!)

8. DO NOT use nipple Stretchers till fully healed and at least sized up to a 10 Gauge. Ripping is not a pleasurable experience, nor will you be able to re-pierce that area in the future because of the scar tissue. PLEASE be careful and don’t use stretchers till you are full and ready. And start small, ½ inch stretchers to begin with and work you way up.

Sizing Information

So many people call me and ask me what the sizing means, here is a really quick update that should take away all those questions. The Gauge is the thickness of the ring. The LOWER the number the higher the Gauge. The Length of the Jewelry is usually from one side to the other at its widest point. Internal Threading (the Ball is threaded the Jewelry is hollow on both ends) usually occurs with Jewelry that is of 8 Gauge and UP in size, and External Threading (the jewelry itself is threaded and the Ball is hallow) usually occurs with jewelry that is 10 Gauge and Down in Size.
